The 2025 program kicks off Monday, September 8!
College Aggies Online (CAO) is an initiative of the Alliance connecting college students from across the country who are passionate about sharing positive, factual information about animal agriculture! Participants receive nine interactive and educational weeks of content to help them become confident and effective communicators for agriculture with guidance from industry and farmer mentors.
Throughout the program, students will compete for points and the opportunity to win $100 scholarship prizes each week. At the end of the program, the top five students and top three clubs with the most points receive scholarship money.

CAO is open to undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate students studying in the U.S. who want to grow and improve their communication skills while advocating for agriculture! You do not have to be an agriculture major to participate.
Collegiate clubs and classes are also welcome to join! To learn more about incorporating CAO into your class curriculum, contact the Alliance.
The CAO program consists of two divisions: an individual division and a club division. The individual division is a completely virtual experience focusing on how to communicate about agriculture confidently and effectively online. Students receive guidance from industry experts and farmer mentors on how to write blog posts, create viral social media posts, design eye-catching infographics, and so much more.
The club division provides guidance and resources for students to host virtual or in-person events on their campus to engage with peers about agriculture with their collegiate club or class. Events include hosting a farm tour for peers, addressing myths and misinformation in agriculture at a booth on campus, or connecting with local legislators. Club participants are also eligible to submit pre-planned or annual events for the chance to earn points.

If you are interested in animal agriculture and connecting with the general public about how food is produced, College Aggies Online (CAO) is the perfect scholarship program for college students to participate in. Former CAO winners Alexis Main and Sydney Mitchell share their tips for success.
Everyone is involved in agriculture in one way or another – whether that is growing up on a farm or even just eating the food bought at the grocery store. To bridge the communication gap between farm and fork, college students from across the country come together each fall for a scholarship program that encourages them to do just that.
With so many different directions students can take, one thing is key for the success of students and the field as a whole: effective communication with people not actively involved in or familiar with agriculture.

Description:
Would amend Aricle 1, Section 34 of the Texas Constitution to include that people have the right to hunt, fish and harvest wildlife, including the use of traditioal methods, subject to laws and regulations to conserve and manage wildlife and preserve the future of hunting and fishing. Would also state that hunting and fishing are preferred methods of managing and controlling wildlife.
