May 8, 2014 –”Pick a few things that are sustainable and tell us how that works, start marketing your success to us and we’ll respond,” said Miles Milliken, a student at the George Washington University (GWU) that joined three other students and Rob Morasco, Senior Director of Offer Development for Sodexo USA–one of the nation’s top food service companies for universities and corporations worldwide. The panel, entitled “College Cafeteria Confidential: Millennials in the Lunch Line”asked panelists who included Eric Estroff, a sophomore from Atlanta, Georgia; Jesse Schaffer, a senior from Chicago, Illinois; and Jennifer Weinberg a freshman from New Jersey who grew up on a cattle feed yard and still shows cattle. Both Estroff and Schaffer are heavily involved in working with Sodexo, the student dining board and the Office of Sustainability at GWU.
