Animal Agriculture Alliance extends early-bird rates for 2018 Summit
Discounted registration rates for Stakeholders Summit now available through April 10
April 2, 2018 – Today, the Animal Agriculture Alliance announced early-registration rates for the 2018 Stakeholders Summit will be extended through April 10 due to popular demand. The event, themed “Protect Your Roots,” is set for May 3-4 at the Renaissance Capital View Hotel in Arlington, Va. To register, visit http://animalagalliance.org/summit.
The event will inspire attendees representing all facets of animal agriculture to be proud of their past and current roles in the industry and challenge them to be forward-thinking about how we can continue to grow into the future. Speakers will explore topics from the future of consumer choice and working with journalists to ‘no antibiotics ever’ animal production and debunking myths about animal agriculture’s environmental impact.
“We are excited to have such an impressive line-up of speakers and sessions this year,” said Kay Johnson Smith, Alliance president and CEO. “The Summit gives attendees the opportunity to hear about emerging issues from the leading experts in the field. Registration numbers are exceeding our expectations and we are on track for another record-breaking crowd!”
Winners from the Alliance’s 2017 College Aggies Online scholarship program will also take the stage during Summit to be recognized in front of hundreds of industry professionals. The 2018 program is set to kick off in early September. Individuals must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student or be in professional school as of Fall 2018. Collegiate clubs are also invited to participate. Interested students can sign up at http://collegeaggies.animalagalliance.org.

About the Alliance:
The Animal Agriculture Alliance is an industry-united, nonprofit organization that helps bridge the communication gap between farm and fork. We connect key food industry stakeholders to arm them with responses to emerging issues. We engage food chain influencers and promote consumer choice by helping them better understand modern animal agriculture. We protect by exposing those who threaten our nation’s food security with damaging misinformation.
