Animal Ag Alliance Appoints Adams as Communications and Membership Coordinator
The Animal Agriculture Alliance recently appointed Laramie Adams as Communications and Membership Coordinator. He will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of all aspects of the Alliance’s communications and membership development strategy.
“We are excited Laramie has joined our staff as Communications and Membership Coordinator,” said Executive Vice President Kay Johnson Smith. “With Laramie’s experience and understanding of agriculture, policy and communications, he will be a tremendous asset to our team.”
Adams, a native of Gustine, Texas, was raised on his family farm and ranch where he grew a strong passion for agriculture. He most recently served as Press Assistant for the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry where he gained a substantial amount of knowledge about the issues facing the agricultural industry and assisted former Agriculture Committee Chairman, Blanche Lincoln in developing a strategic communications strategy for the committee.
In December 2009, Adams earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications at Texas Tech University. During the last two years of his college career, Adams worked for Texas State Senator Robert Duncan as a Fellow in his Lubbock District 28 office and the Texas State Capitol office during the 81st Legislative Session.
