Animal Agriculture Alliance re-relaunches blog with a new look

Alliance blog now titled “Animal Ag Engage”

February 12, 2016 – Today, the Animal Agriculture Alliance announced the re-release of their blog with a new name and refreshed design. Formerly known as “Real Farmers Real Food”, the new blog is named “Animal Ag Engage” and features content about hot topics in animal agriculture.

“The new name and look more accurately capture the content we share and our mission of bridging the communication gap between farm and fork,” said Casey Whitaker, communications coordinator at the Alliance. “The three pillars included in our mission are ConnectEngage, and Protect. Our blog falls perfectly under the engage part of our mission, so the name came naturally.”

Since the blog was first published in 2014, it has earned almost 50,000 views of more than 65 posts. The post feature topics ranging from the truth behind undercover videos, animal rights group history and strategies, busting common myths to animal care, youth in agriculture and food trends. The blog aims to not only share science-based information about animal agriculture, but provide a new perspective to topics that may be controversial. Comments and active discussion are welcome and encouraged.
