Animal Agriculture Alliance and Charleston|Orwig take home Regional Best of NAMA Award

Entry advances to the national level

February 10, 2016 – The Animal Agriculture Alliance, along with Charleston|Orwig, recently earned first place in the Best of NAMA awards competition for the Carolinas/Virginia region and will move on to compete at the national level. The recognition was for the Alliance’s new printed marketing materials that communicate the Alliance’s mission and benefits of membership.

The Best of NAMA, sponsored by the National Agri-Marketing Association, honors the best in agricultural marketing communications. Both companies and agencies submit their work for this competition, which is one of the tools used to evaluate creative marketing communications and public relations success in the industry. Overall, there were 1,368 entries in the six NAMA regions.

“The Alliance team along with our partners at Charleston|Orwig put a great deal of effort into refreshing our brand identity and making sure our corporate collateral matches the forward-thinking energy that our organization demonstrates,” said Hannah Thompson, Alliance communications director. “We are very honored to have our communications efforts recognized by NAMA.”

First place and merit winners from each region are then eligible to advance to the national competition. All national awards will be presented at the Agri-Marketing Conference in Kansas City on April 13, 2016.
